A recent survey of the Cross revealed cracks in the arms, which urgently needs to be repaired to prevent further degradation. The Cross Committee has embarked on a programme to tackle this issue. National Broadband Ireland will visit Bere Island next week and hold a public meeting on Monday 19th February 2024 at 7.00pm in the Community Centre. They will give an update presentation on the progress with fibre broadband for Bere Island. Everyone is welcome to come along.
