Bere Island Community Radio broadcast their regular Sunday morning show live from Aranmore Island, Co Donegal last Sunday. The team broadcast from the Modam Remote, a remote digital working hub on Aranmore Island.
As well as the regular Sunday morning features, the show featured interviews with Jerry Early, Chair of IIMRO and Comharchumann Oileán Árainn Mhór, island pupils Reanoid and Helen sang on air, and the team spoke to Laurence Gallagher, a Tunnelling Tiger for over 40 years. They also interviewed Aranmore Ferry operator Seamus Boyle, Denis O’Donnell a marathon runner who operates Aranmore Guided Tours, TV producer Helena Gallagher, language planning officer Fiona Glynn and DJ and music promoter Tomás Costello DJ.
