This Saturday February 25th is Ireland Reads Day, a national day to celebrate reading. People of all ages are invited to get reading, one minute, ten minutes, an hour, or more. It doesn’t matter how long you read for or what you read, but why not make a start and read some great Bere Island books! All are available to purchase from The Bere Island Heritage Centre.
Ireland Reads is a is an initiative of the Government of Ireland, funded by Healthy Ireland and and supported by public libraries, and many organisations that promote literacy and the arts.
